Edvardas joined Girteka Group in 1997 as one of its first employees, at a time when the company operated just one truck. Over the years, together with the team, he helped grow the business into one of Europe’s leading logistics groups, with the largest owned truck fleet in the region.  

As CEO, Edvardas focuses on continuous profitable growth, ensuring operational excellence, building a professional team and long-term partnerships, investing in modern assets and digital solutions, and strengthening the company’s position as a leader in the road transportation sector.  

Edvardas holds an engineering degree from Vilnius Tech and an MBA from BMI Executive Institute. He has also studied at the Wharton and IMD business schools. He is a Board Member of the Girteka Group, Willgrow, and Thermo Transit.
