Girteka Business Services (GBS) was established in May 2022, with the aim to bolster our rapidly expanding operations across Europe. With a team of over 200 professionals of various nationalities, GBS serves as a shared expertise center for the Group’s functions, ensuring smooth international coordination.

What We Do

GBS serves as Girteka Group’s operational gateway for international business services, streamlining processes across different internal functions. The service center accommodates the IT Department, which manages IT operations, SAP implementation, business intelligence, and software development; the People and Culture Department, which handles talent acquisition, employee relations, and training for both GBS and the Group’s operations in Lithuania.

GBS also supports the Finance Department, which oversees accounting, processes travel documents, and registers primary accounting documents; the Transport Department, which coordinates logistics operations across Europe; Customer Care teams, tasked with ensuring efficient services throughout the cargo transportation process; Insurance and Risk Management, which mitigates risks to ensure smooth logistics activities; and the Nordic Department, which monitors transportation operations in Scandinavia.

By leveraging digital tools, implementing SAP systems, and developing business intelligence solutions, the IT team ensures stable operations. Simultaneously, the People and Culture Department fosters a dynamic workplace with effective hiring, strong employee relations, and comprehensive training programs.

Also, at GBS, Finance upholds accuracy and compliance by efficiently handling accounting, processing travel documents, and registering primary accounting documents. The Insurance and Risk Management team enhances operational safety by identifying and mitigating potential risks. This integrated approach supports the Group’s logistics operations, ensuring seamless services to clients across Europe.

Situated in Tbilisi, Georgia, GBS benefits from a strategic location known for its robust infrastructure and business-friendly environment. Our newly established office is designed to house up to 250 employees and includes modern workspaces, collaborative spaces, training rooms, recreational areas, and state-of-the-art IT infrastructure.
