What We Do
Girteka Transport’s key functional areas encompass driver attraction, managing the Group’s in-house Drivers’ Academy, overseeing the service and maintenance of the company’s fleet, as well as handling transport operations with our 12,000 professional drivers.

Professional Drivers
We are committed to expanding our human resources through extensive training centers at our transport bases in Šiauliai, Lithuania, and Poznan, Poland. Our training centers ensure that drivers receive comprehensive education to maintain the highest standards of safety and efficiency.
At our Drivers’ Academy, we provide extensive training programs covering eco-driving, safety, compliance, and utilization of the latest digital tools. Our goal is to continually attract and develop skilled drivers and continue delivering top-notch transportation services across Europe.
Expert Maintenance
Our transport bases, located in Šiauliai, Lithuania, and Poznan, Poland, are equipped with advanced maintenance facilities to ensure our fleet is always in optimal condition. With extensive experience in servicing, our maintenance centers employ over 650 staff and cover a total of 35,500 m² of workshop space. This extensive support network ensures the reliability and safety of Girteka Group’s operations.
The Role of Administration
The Administration Department is at the core of Girteka Transport’s activities, ensuring seamless logistics operations. This division is responsible for the comprehensive management of transport functions, including the implementation of telematics, route optimization, and fuel operations management.
Our Transport Function Management team oversees the installation and maintenance of telematics equipment, conducts route analysis, and manages data to ensure optimal routes and secured parking areas.
We leverage AI and digital tools to support the daily work of our drivers and transport managers. By continuously analyzing trip data, we can make data-driven decisions, upholding the highest standards of operational efficiency and reliability.
Transport Bases
Our transport bases are strategically located to support the Group’s daily operations and ensure the efficiency of our logistics services. Our Šiauliai base spans over 8,000 m², services up to 4,000 trucks and supports up to 8,000 drivers. More than 200 mechanics work here, ensuring our fleet’s optimal condition.
Our transport base in Poznan is the largest – this facility covers over 22,000 m², oversees the maintenance of up to 4,000 trucks and supports 8,000 drivers. Around 300 mechanics maintain the Group’s fleet at this location.
Recruitment Offices
Our recruitment efforts span across continents, targeting professional drivers from various countries in Europe and beyond. Knowing the challenges that the road transportation market currently faces in attracting professional and experienced drivers, we have focused our recruitment activities on other geographies. Today, Girteka Transport oversees driver recruitment offices in Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan, while also collaborating with partners in Belarus to find the best professionals.
